DEB: Immigration Scrapbook Pages

We have just completed an Immigration Unit in DEB. Students read books about immigration and stories from different countries. They then took on the perspective of the main character in their book and created a scrapbook page of their journey from their native country to America. We ended our unit by celebrating and sharing all of the hard work and creativity that students had put in to their scrapbook pages with a Museum Walk. Students filled each others bucket's by writing positive comments about each others work.
